Ncora Dam in the Tsomo River, Eastern Province of South Africa, has a capacity of 150.1 million cubic metres. Built near Tsomo in 1975, it is the fourth biggest in the Province with a surface area of 1,392 hectares. The dam wall is 305 metres long and 44 metres high Built primarily for the generation of Eskom hydropower at the dam itself, water from Ncora Dam is also transferred to the Mbashe River catchment area for hydropower generation at the Collywobbles power station.
